Assessment & Evaluation
An assessment of the Candidate is conducted using QWIZ, an automated evaluation system for mathematical, mechanical reasoning, reading & communication skills.  DISC assesses the personality fit to job requirements
Referral
Comprehensive reporting highlighting candidate strengths/weaknesses, relative to position sought.  On presentation of resumes, in-depth discussion to demonstrate benefit of each candidate separately and by comparison
Reference Check
Two confidential Reference checks conducted using competency based behavioural methodology
Recommended to Borders Group

A Candidate is recommended to Borders Group by telephone.  Universal Recruitment will recommend one candidate per vacancy. Resumes are supplied as requested by Borders Group.

Commence at Borders Group

The Candidate commences at Borders Group. Deliver any training and/or induction requirements.

Temporary
Candidate performance to be assessed by Borders Group for a period of three days, if accepted the candidate will proceed to undertake the assignment at Borders Group  Consulting until such time as either party notifies Universal Recruitment in writing that they wish to terminate the assignment.

Permanent
A Universal Recruitment consultant will maintain contact as follows:

  • First contact at start date
  • Second contact second week
  • Third contact fourth week
  • Fourth contact eighth week
  • Fifth contact twelfth week
  • Sixth contact sixteenth week
  • Seventh contact twentieth week
  • Eighth contact twenty-fourth week
